- We Pull the Permit
Salt Lake requires a permit to take out a structural wall, and only a licensed contractor can pull one. A junk removal company can’t — so they turn the job down, or they do it without one and don’t mention it. Vince pulls the permit.
That’s the hardest test in this trade, and it’s the reason to trust the rest of the list too. The person clearing your garage or your mother’s house is a framer with 27 years in the trades who knows what’s holding the house up — so from a full trailer to a bearing wall, it’s one company, one date, and no gap in the middle where the job stalls.
Utah GC License #14181665-5501. 27 years in the trades. Framer by trade.
What we do
From a full garage to a load-bearing wall.
Seven services, one number, and the owner on the job.
Everyday
Sensitive
- Estate CleanoutsA whole house, emptied and swept. Usually after a death or a move to care, and usually on somebody else's deadline.
- Estate SalesA real estate sale, run at the property. Sorting, pricing, staging, marketing, and the sale itself — 40% of what sells.
- Probate CleanoutsFor the executor and the attorney. The house emptied on a court timeline, documented, and ready to list.
The permit gets pulled before the wall comes down.
Why him
Five facts, no adjectives.

A verified Google Business Profile, and eleven reviews rather than a number nobody can check. The profile's category is junk removal service — which is the thing that actually decides what shows up when someone searches.

Utah general contractor
A state contractor license, not a business registration. It's what makes it legal to take out a structural wall — and it's why the demolition permit gets pulled here and can't be, by a hauling company.
- $2MInsured and bonded
liability · $55K bond
Two million aggregate, one million per occurrence, plus a $55,000 bond. If you're an executor or an agent who needs a certificate for a file, that's the number you need.
- 27Experience
years in the trades · company founded 2024
Two different figures and both are true. Vince has 27 years in the trades, framing and contracting. Black Diamond is the company he started after moving to Utah two years ago. They're stated separately because the second one is public record.
- 1Owner-operated
person on every job
The licensed contractor who quotes your job is the one who pulls the permit and stands in the property while it happens. Nothing gets handed down a chain. Eleven years US Navy, service-connected disabled veteran.

Three steps
How it works.
- Step 1
Tell us what's there
Call or text. Photos help more than a description does — especially for demo. You'll talk to Vince.
- Step 2
We look at it
Anything structural gets walked in person before a number goes on it. Straight cleanouts we can usually price off photos.
- Step 3
It comes out
We do the work and haul the debris off the same trip. You get the room back, swept.
Where we work
Sixteen towns.
16 towns — 15 inside about 15 miles of Sandy, plus Park City (up Parley's, about 40 minutes).

“Framing is how you learn what’s holding a house up.”
I spent 11 years in the Navy. When I got out I went into real estate, flipping houses, and I’ve been in the trades 27 years — general contractor, framer by trade. That’s the part that matters on a demo job.
Framing is how you learn what’s holding a house up. You spend enough years putting the structure in and you can walk a basement, look at which way the joists run, and know what’s carrying load before anybody cuts anything. That’s why I’ll take a wall other crews won’t — and why I can pull the permit for it.
I moved to Utah two years ago and started Black Diamond. Named it that because this is a skiing state and a black diamond means expert level. Demo and hauling were always part of the construction work anyway; I’m moving to it full time because it’s the part of the trade I want to be doing.
So I’m on every job. You’re not going to call and get a dispatcher and then meet three guys you’ve never spoken to.
Outside of work I’m training for my first bodybuilding contest in April 2027, which my back has opinions about.
